Subject :  Compile yate 2 in Visual Studio 2005
 Date :  Thu, 3 Apr 2008 08:13:33 +0200
Hello everyone,

I've succesfully compiled yate 2 with OpenH323 in Visual Studio 2005, and it works perfectly! However, I noticed that it's dependent of the VS2005 redistributables to work. Are there any reasons why these libraries aren't statically linked? Is it safe to make them statically linked?

I'll soon be upgrading to VS2008, does anyone know if there are big differences between these versions, or should I be able to compile in 2008 as well? I guess I'll soon find out though :)

Regards,

Peter Olsson
