DISCLAIMER: You might have to pay royalty fees to the G.729 patent holders for
using their algorithm.

G.729 codec for Yate based on Intel IPP is available in both source and binary
form at
http://asterisk.hosting.lv/yate/yate-g729.tar.bz2 - source
http://asterisk.hosting.lv/yate/g729.yate.bz2 - 32-bit
http://asterisk.hosting.lv/yate/g729_x64.yate.bz2 - 64-bit binary

Binaries are compiled with GCC 4 for Yate 2 running on Linux x86 Glibc on
Pentium4 class CPU (or better).
To build from sources you need IPP 6.0 or 5.3 from
http://support.intel.com/support/performancetools/libraries/ipp/linux/ia/
If there will be enough interest I'll a put a page similar to Asterisk
G.729/G.723.1 codec page http://asterisk.hosting.lv/
