G.729 frame size is 10 bytes, and it contain 10ms of audio.
FormatRepository::addFormat("g729",L_FRAME_COMPRESSED,L_FRAME*1000/8);
You could try to multiply these values by 4 and see how the codec handles it, 
because it tries to consume as much as there is data in the buffer to fill the 
whole frame.
