Hi,

Any Ideas about this?
The goal here is, to put a pair of servers running YATE, and one of them is
working. For any reason server's down, and failover server take over and
support operation.
We're trying to use Linux -HA or Keepalived, but if this is not necessary,
or any other setup, that provide failover.
The problem is, SIP Signalling when answers an INVITE coming in the virtual
IP address, always uses the real IP of the server instead of the virtual IP.

Thanks for your ideas.

HI all,

I'm using Yate with 2 IPs, one is the real IP (ssh, and monitoring stuff) , and other is virtual (SIP Signalling) , assigned either by Linux-HA or Keepalived. The issue I found is, when an INVITE gets virtual IP, yate answers the INVITE,  but the source IP is the real, not the virtual.

Servers:
Server 1--192.111.0.86/24 gw 192.111.0.1
Server 2--192.111.0.87/24 gw 192.111.0.1
Shared virtual IP--192.111.0.85/24
I've played in ysipchan.conf with the following:
;addr: ipaddress: IP address to bind to
addr=192.111.0.85
but there's no effect on the behavior.
Does anybody have an idea how I have to configure Yate to make it only answer SIP with the virtual IP? Or any suggestion to make Yate work in a failover manner?
Thank you!
