Interesting, thank you. I did not know that code was available. The reason I ask about the spandsp codecs is that spandsp is already utilized by Yate for the fax modem. Also, the spandsp code is kept up to date by its maintainer. The .h files in spandsp expose an API that should allow us to link to the codecs, but I am not a strong enough programmer to know how to do it.

I will try your module; thanks again. My request still stands for the spandsp codecs though!
