 Subject :  SS7 Links flapping

Hello all,

Today we experienced several issues with SS7 links (Sigtran), due to high
latency and packet loss on the medium. Links stop fIapping until medium was
stable. So, I verified the configs on our yate on sigtransport.conf, and I
found the following:

[link1]
local=my.ip.address:7100
remote=remote.ip.address:23140
type=sctp
stream=no
endpoint=yes
rto_max=400
rto_min=200
rto_initial=400

Is there any other parameters, that I can play with, in order to make this
links work more efficiently? I see several, like hb_interval, max_retrans,
hb_enabled, sack_delay, sack_freq, but I don't know if I make some changes
on them, can I make this work better.
Thanks for giving light to my ignorance.

Regards.
