Summary 0000300: Transcoding doesn't work on Yate4 SVN
Description Now testing new Yate4 from SVN, Yate just doesn't transcode RTP traffic. For example, we use G.711A only on trunk (Med2K) and G.726 on client (MP-118FXS). we see in Wireshark that Yate always sends G.711A to client. When we use G.711A on client, everything is OK.

Config is default, we've just added one record in regfile and one context in regexroute:

${username}^test$=from_test

[from_test]
${username}^$=-;error=noauth
^.*$=sip/sip:\0@10.10.10.10

Yate does not include a G.726 transcoder, it should not work.

You can manually enable a codec for which a transcoder does not exist, provided a common format can be negotiated between endpoints. This format will be proxied unaltered.

ysipchan.conf:

[codecs]
g726=yes
