|Summary||0000384: ybts.yate is built without respecting user cflags|
I am under the assumption that this is by accident not by design. During the build process /usr/lib64/yate/server/ybts.yate is built without respecting the user cflags.
This issue was for all built files until the patch from opensuse by namtrac was absorbed upstream, now the issue seems to only affect that one file.

Remark: Looks like the Bugtracker does not autoecho reports to the mailinglist.
Maybe You should post there too and link to the tracker?
It appears that the patch just deletes the line that removes -gX from CFLAGS
The -gX in Yate and YateBTS is controlled by the make target (ndebug,debug,etc.)
